I was exporting a graphic in adobe after effects and the export had errors and came up with this sound. Thought it was pretty cool.

Inspired by ben croshaw's point 'n' click horror adventure games, i decided i'd try and see if i can make my own creepy whispers using audacity. This is basically some whispered lines and some really low-volume screams superimposed on one another, with some of these lines reversed. I made this on march 2012 and was recorded on my netbook's slightly damaged built-in mic.

I recorded this trying to resemble a zombie attacking something or someone and starting to devour it.

A typewriter rhythm with a strange drone in it, slightly different from other file.

An eerie ghost effect i created from sampling metallic sounds and processing them.

This is me reading a list of numbers to type in to create a sonic effect on my computer. (think -514. 0001. ) i first reversed it and added reverb to it and reversed it again. Then i duplicated it two times and changed the pitch of the duplicates by five semitones up and down. Enjoy, and above all, don't be creeped out! made with audacity.

This was created with paul's extreme sound stretch program, my voice, and audacity. I whispered a couple of times into the microphone and slowed it down a good bit in paul's stretch program. I think the result is pretty creepy! leave a comment and let me know if you plan on using this!. Edit -- 8/23/10 -- whoa, did not know that the file size was so big. Sorry about the huge file size, i'll try not to have them that big in my future sounds.

All my sounds were created for a motioncomic i created called: kay & gojiah. . . Found a half-broken wind-up rotating christmas tree music box. . . Thing. . . Raw 24/96 ms recording; be sure to decode before use. Left channel is mid, right is side. To do this manually you should separate the channels to two mono tracks, duplicate the side track and invert the duplicate. Pan the side tracks hard left and right, and mix with the mono mid channel. Or use a plugin to do it for you :d.

I made this in cubase, its pretty creepy.

That's a high-pitched roar recorded using my own voice. This scream remind me about cry of fear's monster yells - so terrifying.
